Dubai’s Tolerance Bridge was recently illuminated with a dazzling light display, courtesy of Martin Professional Middle East (MPME) and Scientechnic. Dubai Road and Transport Authority (RTA) hired Scientechnic to design a lighting solution, which would light the 690ft-long walking and cycling path over the Dubai Water Canal – the only clear span suspension bridge in the Middle East – without causing any glare at the pedestrians using the bridge. Expo 2020 Dubai has been postponed by a year, the governing body of World Expos confirmed on Monday. Originally slated to run from 20 October, 2020, to 10 April, 2021, Expo 2020 Dubai will now take place from 1 October, 2021, 31 March, 2022. The long-awaited BLAST Pro Series Global Final, one of the highlights of the booming international e-sports market, was hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain in December 2019, with Green Hippo’s Hippotizer Media Servers looking after the complex playback requirements. The event, an action-packed first-person shooter tournament spanning two days, attracted gaming fans from around the world to the 7,000-seat Isa Sports City Arena.
