Production Resource Group (PRG), has acquired the Middle East division of Delta Sound, Delta Sound UAE, a specialist provider of live audio and event communications technology based in Dubai and operating across the Middle East. Shure Incorporated has announced that a police raid on a factory in China manufacturing counterfeit products, Enping Soundpu Electronics Equipment (also doing business as Voxpu Electronics Equipment), was conducted in October 2018. The successful onsite enforcement action was initiated by Shure and accomplished with close cooperation and assistance from the Enping Public Security Bureau (PSB) and the Enping Administration of Industry and Commerce (AIC). The targeted factory is a repeat offender and known counterfeiter to the Enping enforcement authorities. On the 5 January 2019, The AFC Asian Cup returned to the UAE for the second time since 1996 and for the first time in history, the month-long tournament saw 24 teams take part. The European Tour made history this year when it took its tournament to Saudi Arabia for the first time in its 47 years of running.
