DWR Distribution is hosting Robe Roadshow South Africa, along with Josef Valchar, CEO of Robe Lighting, and Harry von den Stemmen, International Sales Director, who will be introducing the new Esprite and Tetra this December.

The Robe Roadshow is kicking off in Cape Town at the Roxy Revue Bar at the Grand West Casino on 2 December. Those living in Durban can pop in at the Grace Family Church in Umhlanga on 4 December. The last stop will be at DWR Distribution Johannesburg on 6 December.

Demonstrations will be held on the hour from 10am to 4pm each day. The new Robe LED Esprite is a leap in innovation. The automated luminaire has a fast-change, low-cost, transferable light engine ingeniously solving the problem of performance longevity for those preferring the higher brightness of white source LEDs as an obvious replacement for their ageing stock of discharge workhorses.

TETRAgnatha is a Linear bar building on the Spiider and Tarrantula technology. Generating an ultra-tight 4.5° beam from each of the 18 pixels, they combine to produce a bright, defined “sheet” of light, desired by lighting designers. Seamless curtains of light can be constructed using several fixtures. With the addition of two exclusive Robe patented MCFE.

Multi-Coloured Flower Effects, the pixel-driven Tetra sets itself apart from others by projecting charismatic in-air animations. The compact, detailed design, allows end-to-end placement on stage or truss, maintaining equal spacing between pixels.
