The Sennheiser Group hosted an exclusive meeting titled “A Sound Discussion with Daniel Sennheiser” last week at The Dressing Room, New Covent Garden Theatre, Mall of the Emirates, Dubai. The gathering brought together guests to explore the company’s strategic direction, the future of professional audio and emerging opportunities across the Middle East and Africa.
The meeting was led by Daniel Sennheiser, the grandson of company founder Fritz Sennheiser. Representing the third generation of the family-owned business, Daniel served as Co-CEO alongside his brother, Dr. Andreas Sennheiser, for 12 years, before assuming the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors on January 1, 2026. He now focuses on the Sennheiser Group’s strategic direction, long-term development, and key customer relationships, while Dr. Andreas Sennheiser leads the operational business as CEO.
Among the many topics covered at The New Covent Garden Theatre was how professional audio is changing across a range of applications, from live events to broadcast to business. “For us, everything starts with understanding how our customers work, the challenges they face, and what they need from us. Being close to our customers and partners allows us to develop solutions that make their work simpler, more efficient, and more impactful,” said Daniel Sennheiser. “Here in the Middle East and Africa, this means listening to the specific requirements of each market and building the long-term relationships that enable us to create lasting value together.”
Wireless technology was another key topic during the meeting, with particular attention given to Spectera, Sennheiser’s bidirectional wideband wireless ecosystem. During the conversation, Daniel highlighted the huge leap forward in technology that Spectera represents, telling the journalists and guests in attendance about the myriad benefits of having an integrated wireless ecosystem as live events become increasingly complex.
The Middle East and Africa were also a central focus of the conversation, with discussion around regional market developments, evolving customer requirements, and opportunities across professional audio applications. Daniel also reaffirmed his belief in the region stated that Sennheiser is “here for the long term”.
Looking ahead, the Dubai meeting provided an opportunity for the guests to exchange perspectives on the priorities shaping Sennheiser’s future in the region, with Daniel sounding a particularly positive note when it comes to the long-term outlook for live events. “The most important thing is that people are still very interested in going out to watch live music, and we can’t see that changing anytime soon,” he stated.
