Monster Productions & Events, a leading provider of sound, staging, lighting, and AV services based in Johannesburg, South Africa, has expanded its lighting inventory with a substantial investment in state-of-the-art Elation lighting equipment. Known for delivering top-class event production, particularly in the corporate sector, Monster Productions’ latest acquisition includes Elation KL PANEL softlights, RAYZOR 760 moving head effect lights, and ARTISTE PICASSO profile moving head luminaires.

Specialising in large-scale corporate events, awards ceremonies, press events, and year-end functions, Monster Productions has over 25 years of experience providing expert production solutions. With this new lighting investment, the company is further solidifying its ability to deliver spectacular event experiences.

Monster Productions’ owner and CEO, Lloyd Wild, expressed his excitement about the new Elation products. “The KL PANEL is a brilliant all-rounder for our day-to-day corporate events,” said Wild. “Whether we need it for house lights, key light for a panel discussion, or just a general wash, the unit is always our go-to.”

The KL PANEL is renowned for its versatility, featuring an RGBW + Lime + Cyan LED array that produces bright, full-colour washes or soft white light with up to 24,000 field lumens. It is a perfect fit for key, fill, and backlight applications, delivering superior lighting quality with easy adjustability for different event needs.

Wild also praised the RAYZOR 760, stated: “The RAYZOR 760s were the perfect companion to accompany our ARTISTE PICASSOs. The versatility of these fixtures means they can be used for eye candy and effects or simply a solid wash. We did in-person shootouts and comparisons and none of the other units on the market came close.” With seven 60W RGBW LEDs, continuous pan and tilt, and a unique SparkLED twinkle effect, the RAYZOR 760 offers a dynamic combination of wash and beam features.

Adding to its already impressive inventory, Monster Productions has also expanded its stock of ARTISTE PICASSO fixtures, which have become the company’s workhorse for day-to-day events. “It was a no brainer to up the quantity to 12 to do the heavy lifting of our day-to-day events,” noted Wild, who says that all of the new products have been doing very well. “They always seem to have the upper hand in terms of both spec and reliability while remaining at a desirable price point.”

Monster Productions continues to partner with Elation’s South African distributor, The Production Warehouse to source their lighting gear (www.productionwarehouse.co.za). The Production Warehouse has been Elation’s exclusive sales partner in South Africa since 2015 and have grown the brand significantly. Wild highlighted the excellent service he’s received: “We’ve seen exceptional service levels from Marnus Nieuwoudt and his team at The Production Warehouse. They’ve consistently provided us with the best support to ensure we can deliver for our clients.”

Marnus Nieuwoudt, The Production Warehouse owner, added: “Lloyd has been a loyal client since we opened our doors, and we greatly value his continued support. We are excited to see Monster Productions thrive with their new Elation gear.”
