At Unilumin, we continually strive to innovate, bringing cutting-edge visual solutions to our customers across the globe, including the Middle East. Our latest product lines include the XV Transparent Series, the Utile EA Series, and the highly flexible XC & XS Series. These products cater specifically to the region’s growing demand for high-performance, rental-friendly LED displays, boasting impressive visual clarity and adaptability. For indoor applications, our 1.9mm pixel pitch ensures remarkable detail, while the 2.9mm outdoor variant offers stunning outdoor performance, both of which elevate staging and event experiences in the Middle East to new levels of sophistication.

Can you tell us more about the U-shield technology – why is it suited to the Middle East?

U-shield Technology is one of Unilumin’s most significant innovations, perfectly aligned with the needs of the Middle East’s rental market. Designed to boost the durability of LED lamps by 500%, U-shield drastically reduces maintenance costs while ensuring an extended lifespan, which is vital for large-scale events and installations in the region. Over the past two years, the entertainment industry in the Middle East has been on a positive trajectory, with large-scale entertainment events, the gaming industry, and tourism booming—fueling the rapid growth of the rental market. Our U-shield technology addresses the key pain points of this sector, ensuring the stable development of the Middle Eastern industry. Its unique features eliminate the need for protective masks, expanding the viewing angle and enhancing color performance, which is crucial for outdoor events where visual clarity and impact are paramount. This technology ensures that our clients in the Middle East can deliver stunning visual experiences with reduced operational costs.

What have been some of your highlight projects in the region over the past few years?

Unilumin has been privileged to contribute to some of the most iconic events and installations in the Middle East. Our standout projects include five consecutive Metasight LED installations between 2021 and 2024. Notably, we’ve supported Jeddah Season with large-scale LED screens from 2022 to 2024, covering an impressive 6,500 square meters across events. Additionally, our work on Boulevard World in 2022, featuring a 15,000 square meter LED installation, earned a Guinness World Record for the largest LED sphere. Earlier, during Riyadh Season 2021, we provided 7,000 square meters of LED displays, captivating over 14 million visitors. These projects highlight our commitment to delivering world-class LED solutions to the region.

Are there any specific challenges you face when selling LED displays in the Middle East?

The Middle East presents a unique blend of opportunities and challenges. Extreme temperatures, dust, and humidity can impact the performance of LED displays, necessitating robust, high-durability products. Additionally, the region’s demand for large-scale, high-resolution displays for major events and installations requires consistent innovation to meet ever-evolving technical standards. To address these challenges, Unilumin has invested in technologies like U-shield, which enhances product durability and minimizes maintenance, ensuring reliable performance even in harsh environmental conditions.

How are you strengthening your presence in the Middle East?

The Middle East is a key market for Unilumin, and we’ve made strategic efforts to expand our presence in the region. We’ve established two major customer service centers in Dubai and Riyadh, which allow us to provide localized support and solutions to our clients. Our long-term strategy revolves around “Localizing Sales, Service, and Manufacturing,” ensuring that we cater to the unique needs of Middle Eastern markets with swift, customized services. By embedding ourselves more deeply in the region, we’re committed to delivering better support, faster responses, and tailored product solutions for our clients.

What are your future plans for the region?

Looking ahead, Unilumin aims to continue growing its footprint in the Middle East by enhancing our local services and expanding our portfolio of cutting-edge visual display solutions. We’re committed to deepening our local partnerships and investing in research and development to cater to the evolving needs of the region. Additionally, we are focused on creating more sustainable, energy-efficient solutions that align with the region’s drive toward environmentally conscious technologies. Our goal is to be a long-term partner, supporting the region’s most ambitious projects with unmatched visual experiences.
