Qvest Media has appointed Philipp Glänzel as General Manager and CTO for its Dubai office.
Glänzel will complement the management team with a focus on managing all technology-relevant matters, as the company aims to expand its market position in the MENA region.
Glänzel joins the team alongside General Manager and CSO, Ahmad Al Kayal, who will continue to lead the company’s sales activities as a long-standing manager.

During his career to date as consultant, project owner and principal at Qvest Media, Philipp Glänzel has already played a key role in numerous major projects for clients in Germany, such as the new construction of the SWR in Stuttgart or the modernization of the NDR, and was responsible for the infrastructure projects for Asharq, IMS and Al Jazeera in the Arab region.
His excellent networking in the MENA region and his expertise in the digital transformation of the media sector are important building blocks to further establish the company’s market position. The innovative and digitally networked media architectures created by Qvest Media are benchmarks in the MENA region that Glänzel will continue to build on in the future.
