EDGE, a Midwich Group company and the Qatar arm of NMK, has announced its new distribution agreement with Hikvision. This strategic partnership reinforces EDGE’s commitment to delivering comprehensive AV and IT offerings tailored to the evolving needs of the Qatari market.

The agreement comes in response to growing demand for Hikvision’s display technologies across key segments such as education, hospitality, corporate, and retail. Building on EDGE’s regional presence and technical expertise, Hikvision and EDGE have partnered to bring enhanced value and tailored solutions to the Qatari market.

“Our goal at EDGE has always been to bring world-class technologies to the Qatari market, and partnering with Hikvision aligns perfectly with that vision,” said Pratap Singh, General Manager of EDGE. “Their cutting-edge display solutions strengthen our portfolio and enable us to offer even more value to our partners and clients across multiple sectors.”

With a strong portfolio of video brands already in place, the addition of Hikvision further strengthens EDGE’s positioning in the commercial display market, including indoor and outdoor LEDs, LCD video walls, interactive displays, digital signage, and the associated controllers and software solutions. It will complement the company’s existing ecosystem and support its vision of offering seamless and scalable visual solutions across industries.

Neil Carroll, Brand Manager at Edge and NMK, added: “Hikvision’s addition to the EDGE portfolio supports our strategy to offer end-to-end video solutions. Their product range strengthens our ability to meet the evolving needs of clients in education, corporate, and retail sectors.”

“We’re excited to collaborate with EDGE to bring Hikvision’s display technologies to more customers across Qatar,” said Robert Wang, Country Manager of Qatar at Hikvision. “EDGE’s deep market knowledge and commitment to channel excellence make them the ideal partner to support our growth in the region.”

EDGE will focus on expanding Hikvision’s presence in Qatar through its robust channel network, dedicated market engagement, and comprehensive support services — from technical consultancy to training and post-sales assistance.

This new collaboration not only strengthens EDGE’s video solutions lineup but also reinforces its role as a key regional player under the Midwich Group’s global distribution network.
