The Esports World Cup (EWC) AFT_r Concerts 2025 pushed the boundaries of live entertainment in the Middle East this summer, setting a new benchmark for what audiences in the region can expect from large-scale concert experiences. Boasting a diverse lineup of international superstars and regional talent at the 8,000 capacity ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, concertgoers attended live performances across four weeks which stood out from the crowd thanks to the impactful visual display.

Delivered by integrator Creative Technology Middle East (CTME) for entertainment company MDLBeast, the production combined cutting-edge LED technology, sophisticated media systems, and advanced lighting design to create an immersive visual and audio experience. Central to this spectacle was INFiLED’s ART 4.6 LED series, which provided over 332 sqm of high-performance visuals across the stage and venue.

As the technical production partner, CTME led the design, supply, and installation of all video, lighting, and camera equipment for the EWC AFT_r Concerts. The brief called for an ambitious, high-impact setup capable of delivering flawless visuals across a large stage, while ensuring the intimacy and connection audiences expect from world-class live performances.

MDLBeast challenged CTME to create a seamless and immersive visual environment that would reflect the scale of the event while complementing each artist’s creative expression. Carlos Aguilar, Head of Video at CTME said: “The solution was a stage design built around extensive LED coverage, integrated IMAG screens for live relay, and vertical LED columns that added architectural depth and dynamic lighting interplay. This created a truly multi-layered visual experience, blending technical precision with artistic vision to keep audiences fully immersed throughout every performance.”

CTME’s design featured a 332-square-metre LED system, centred around a 14m by 10m main screen (3024 by 2160p), flanked by two 76sqm IMAG displays (2052 by 1728p), and accented with eight vertical LED columns (2160 by 108p) that enhanced the stage architecture. The system was powered by Disguise d3 VX4+ media servers, ensuring seamless playback across a 3–4K canvas, complimented with over 400 lighting fixtures. GrandMA 3 consoles provided unified control across all lighting and visual systems, ensuring perfect synchronisation between content and performance.

Visual content was developed through a collaboration between MDLBeast’s creative team and the performing artists, with each act contributing their own video and graphic assets. The result was a fluid blend of live camera feeds, motion graphics, and artist-driven visuals, extending the stage experience into a fully immersive environment that surrounded the audience in motion and colour.

CTME selected the INFiLED ART 4.6 series for its robust touring performance, modularity, and rapid setup capabilities. The panels’ seamless construction and vibrant colour fidelity ensured stunning on-camera visuals and consistency across the entire LED surface. Samer Otaibi, VP of Sales in the Middle East at INFiLED commented: “These attributes were essential in meeting the production’s demanding schedule and in maintaining visual impact under challenging lighting conditions. Our structural precision and reliability also enabled CTME to execute complex designs without compromise — an essential factor for multi-day, high-profile festival productions.”

By integrating INFiLED LED technology with sophisticated media servers and innovative lighting design, the EWC AFT_r Concerts 2025 achieved a bold fusion of artistry and technology. Through precise engineering, creative collaboration, and the exceptional performance of the INFiLED ART 4.6, the project showcased how advanced production techniques and premium visual technology can elevate live music to unprecedented heights, setting new standards for visual excellence across the Middle East.
