    Phoenix Networks Global rebrands to reflect growing global footprint

    Previously known as Phoenix Networks, the Bhopal-based company has officially transitioned to Phoenix Networks Global Pvt. Ltd., reflecting its growing footprint outside India. The new identity marks a forward-facing evolution catalysed by the company’s production support for the Kathmandu Music Festival in Nepal in late 2024.

    “The transformation to Phoenix Networks Global reflects more than a name change—it reflects our growing global footprint, fuelled by the overwhelming success of our services for the Kathmandu Music Festival,” explains Animesh Mishra, Founder Director of the company. “We’ve always believed in setting new benchmarks, and this rebranding aligns with our vision of offering our signature service excellence on a global platform.”

    Founded in 2011 with a vision to transform ordinary gatherings into extraordinary experiences, Phoenix has since executed over 5,000 events, including more than 500 mega-scale productions, spanning concerts, cultural festivals, political rallies, and corporate spectacles. Their track record includes technically demanding events such as Ed Sheeran’s Mathematics Tour in Mumbai, the heritage-rich Tansen Samaroh, and large-scale productions like the Me’Gong Festival.

    Now, strengthening its arsenal, Phoenix Networks Global has invested in two significant additions to its equipment inventory: a comprehensive new Martin Audio WPC line-array system and the brand new Sennheiser Spectera wireless system — each chosen for their pioneering technology and strategic versatility.

    At the heart of the new loudspeaker acquisition is Martin Audio’s Wavefront Precision Compact (WPC) line array system. The company has added 24 units of the WPC—one of the brand’s most advanced 3-way bi-amp, dual 10” line array modules featuring Scalable Resolution technology. The system is supported by 12 units of the SXH218 hybrid horn/reflex subwoofers, 6 units of the LE200 coaxial stage monitors, and 10 units of the iK42 four-channel class-D power amplifiers, forming a powerfully cohesive, high-performance solution for small-to-mid scale events.

    “The WPC’s Scalable Resolution system is a game-changer,” remarked Mishra. “It offers us unmatched flexibility and precise control over system coverage. Whether we’re setting up in a tightly packed ballroom or an open festival ground, we can optimise the entire array to deliver consistent SPL, clarity and tonal balance across the venue—something that’s increasingly important as client expectations evolve.”

    Built to deliver pristine audio coherence with tighter pattern control, the WPC houses twin 10” LF drivers, two 5” MF drivers, and three 1” HF drivers mounted on a patented waveguide. Its ability to deliver phase-consistent, full-range performance—combined with intuitive rigging and DISPLAY software compatibility—makes it a natural fit for Phoenix’s dynamic project slate.

    The accompanying SXH218 subwoofers add low-end muscle to the system, with their hybrid horn/reflex design offering thunderous output while retaining musicality and articulation—an essential quality across varied genres.

    “With the SXH218s, we don’t just get brute force—we get well-defined, musical bass that complements everything from electronic dance music to classical orchestration,” said Mishra. “The responsiveness and clarity they offer, even at extreme SPLs, is something that sets them apart.”

    Through the WPC system acquisition, team Phoenix has also upgraded its stage monitoring capabilities with the addition of the LE200 passive monitors. Featuring the brand’s Coaxial Differential Dispersion technology, the monitors provide even coverage and high feedback rejection—ideal for artists needing clarity, comfort and consistency across large stages.

    “The LE200s allow performers to trust their mix, no matter where they move on stage. That kind of confidence translates directly to better performance energy,” Mishra added.
    And powering this augmented loudspeaker setup are the iK42 amplifiers; each four-channel class-D unit of which delivers up to 20,000W with onboard DSP, seamless VU-NET control, and compatibility with DISPLAY software, enabling sophisticated tuning and alignment.
    “The iK42s are incredibly intelligent amps. The seamless integration with our WPC system means quicker setup, tighter control, and better reliability—especially under pressure!” exclaimed Mishra.

    And rounding off the comprehensive audio inventory update is team Phoenix Networks Global’s masterstroke of bolstering its already impressive wireless infrastructure with the addition of the brand new state-of-the-art Sennheiser Spectera Wireless System.

    “Spectera represents a dramatic leap in wireless reliability and spectral efficiency!” exclaimed Mishra, ” The system is built for demanding professional environments, offering wideband tunability, low-intermodulation RF performance, and robust encryption standards; while affording unparalleled flexibility that allows seamless co-existence with other legacy wireless infrastructure—a major plus for touring or hybrid system integration. It’s software-defined radio architecture offers real-time adaptability across unpredictable RF environments, which is critical when operating in congested cities or international venues with unfamiliar frequency allocations. We also benefit from extended bandwidth, lower latency, and incredibly fast setup workflows — this is as future-ready as wireless gets!”

    Together, the acquisitions mark a future-facing leap for Phoenix Networks Global, whose already formidable Meyer Sound inventory (including the largest number of Panther and Leopard line arrays in India) remains a core offering. The new additions signal a strategic expansion — broadening the company’s ability to deliver bespoke technical solutions for an ever-widening range of event requirements.
